Boot Jacks
Timka Resources Ltd. Cast Brass
Advertising Boot Jack
This is a nice advertising bootjack for an
oil / energy outfit that is still in business. The bootjack says Fort Collins
Colorado, but Google says they are now located in Loveland CO.. No
other mention of bootjacks by them came up. That is
a pic of an oil derrick in the casting. I am not sure who, when, where,
or why these were made or given out, but it has some real age and is a neat
piece. . DEB-BJ2-5

Boot Jack This cast iron bootjack is a
typical tree w/ fantail design, but a hard to find variation with all the
advertising from a still in operation building supply outfit this one has.
I got a hat at Lowes one time.

A. M. Mitchell Charleston ILL Cast Iron Boot Jack
This is a nice double end rocker style advertising bootjack.
A quick Google search turned up a reference to Mr. Mitchell and shoes so maybe
this was a giveaway or sold in his store way back when. I have seen the
style before, but not marked in this way. A nice bootjack .

FFA Future Farmers of America "OKIE" Boot Jack
This is an odd one. I think the
initials stand for Future Farmers of America, but am not real sure. It is
made of cast Aluminum, and is a nice casting. I could find no mention of
it, or anything similar using Google. Not sure what sort of long nose
critter we have here, an "OKIE" I suppose.
