Advertising Signs

Pendleton's 5-10-15 Cent Store  This must have been the equivalent to today's .99 Cent Store.  I wonder what the level of quality was for stuff priced at .15 cents or less.  This measures about 10" tall and 30" long.  It is on oiled or waxed oak tag or something like that that would stand up to outside placement.  It is original and old, and I have several.

Pawling & Harnischfeger Cast Iron Plaque  This firm was organized in the 1880's and only lasted a few years before one of the original partners passed, but their cast iron plaque lives on.   Very nice condition, and measures approx 12" long and 8" tall.   A Google search turned up pages of info on the company and both of its founders.  Check there for more.     Click for Pic
