Different Cross Rib Grip Child-Size Irons
Both of these antique little irons have cross-rib style
handle grips, but note the differences between them---one rounder and the other
more squared off and angular. The one on the left is purportedly English.

Cross Rib Toy Iron This design came in a
number of sizes and variations. They might have 2, 3, or even 4 steps
at the edge. They could come in sizes from 1" to 4". They are referred
to as "cross ribs" for ID purposes. There is nice original black paint
on this example.

super nice condition toy iron. It is cast iron and has a nice green coat
