1 Cent Candy Dispenser This countertop or wall hung Hershey
chocolate candy dispenser is in very nice condition. It is a Walzer product
called the "Moderne Vender" on the front ID tag. I do not have the key.
It is not dented, broken, or damaged, and it appears to be all original. Did
you see the new TV show "The Restorers", where some fellow paid about the
asking price here to have his broken beat up shell of one these "restored"?
Have you heard Hershey no longer wants to put chocolate in their regular chocolate bars? Have you ever tried some of that $20.00 / lb. real chocolate that comes from boutique shops these days? This piece marks the end of an era ----one cent real chocolate candy, not in your lifetime or mine. One piece a day keeps the doctor away and the heart pumping. A neat piece at the right price!

Pendleton's
5-10-15 Cent Store Advertising Poster This must have
been the equivalent to today's .99 Cent Store. I wonder what the level
of quality was for stuff priced at .15 cents or less. This cardboard
poster measures about
10" tall and 30" long. It is on oiled or waxed oak tag or something like
that that would stand up to outside placement and the elements. It is original and old,
and I have several.

& Harnischfeger Cast Iron Plaque
This firm was organized in the 1880's and only lasted a few years before one
of the original partners passed, but their cast iron plaque lives on.
Very nice condition, and measures approx 12" long and 8" tall. A
Google search turned up pages of info on the company and both of its founders.

Rock 1620 Paperweight
There is some writing on the inside of this, but I can not make it out. If
not mistaken 1620 was when the Pilgrims landed, and marked the beginning of the
end for the original Native Americans. Ah, but now they have casinos.
Might help explain the lousy return when playing there. Payback.

Independence Commemorative Ashtray
It says it was Commissioned in 1959. Wonder if it is still being used.
Do we get to use planes off the fleets in the wars we are in now? What
did Orwell call that place Eurasia or something? Its been so long now that I
have heard the names of the places we are in now that I almost forget. I
think that is the idea. This will be a great reminder of something,
for someone.

Antique Mouse Size Live Traps This
style live trap came in a number of different sizes and as can be seen here in a
number of different grades I assume by different makers. They were
designed to be able to trap more than one critter at a time with the trap door
closing after one entered allowing it to reset so that first one could not
escape, and another could enter. None are marked as far as i can see.
