Electric Toasters
Blue
Willow Toastrite Electric Toaster
The Blue Willow Toastrite electric toaster is one of the harder to find
and rarest of all antique electric toasters. The Blue Willow
Toastrite Toaster was
made by Pan Electric of Cleveland Ohio. These decorated china
toasters date from the late 20's and production lasted just a few short
years before the depression effects hit.

Model General Electric D-12 Toaster
This is a rare toaster! The
D12 was the first commercially produced toaster in America and was introduced in
1909 or so. This one has one patent date on the base and another patent pending
below that. It has the high rack which makes it an earlier model, and the
ends are closed which makes it a rare and seldom seen first model. There are some stained hairlines in the bottom of the
base but no real damage or cracks. It works I am not sure if the cord
is original or not, but it fits. A nice toaster and hard to find version.

Frary & Clark Universal Brass
Toaster
I am not the final word on toasters, by a long shot. I have never seen
this before and never heard of an all brass one offered in a brass finish either. It looks to be
unused. It is out of the collection we
took on consignment from some folks in Oregon, and in general they never paid
much of anything for anything. Nor did they do much work on their stuff, so I do not think it is something that someone
refinished or rehabbed and sold to them. They got 95% of their stuff at
the yard sale or Good Will or similar back in the 60's & 70's. It is what
it is. Hopefully rare & unusual.
