** Antique Stanley Bench Planes **

Some of the Planes found on this page have condition problems ranging from bad handles to hang holes, or are just dirtier than I want to clean.  They are offered as is and the price reflects that.  For the most part they can be put back into service or will be suitable for the collection with a tune-up or less critical eye. 

If there are major casting problems or breaks in say the frog I will tell you.

 

 

4 Stanley #5 Jack Planes These  are all structurally sound and just need a clean and tune-up. 2 are corrugated, and 2 are smooth.  Handles on 2 have been repaired the other two have problems.  Clean-em, tune-em, and use-em.  These will make good users.

2 Stanley Defiance Planes  Every Stanley collection needs these.  Stanley marketed and produced this later Defiance line of planes for the masses or what was the masses back in the 1950's.  The block plane is a 110 with a decal to differentiate it from that plane.  Otherwise it is identical.  It is in Excellent condition.  . 

The #3 size is actually a pretty hard to find Stanley plane and has a frog design unlike any other Stanley product.  If you want a user buy one of the ones above.  As part of the collection, you will spend more in gas and time hunting one up that you are about to pay here.      CYN-BBd-1        CYN-BBd-2

Stanley Two Tone Block Plane   The cutter is right, and the plane is nice, but the cap has either been repainted or Stanley quality control was not watching this day. 

Stanley # 78 & 190  Rabbet Planes   No depth stops for either, and no fence / rod with the 78.  Good caps and cutters  Both of these will make good job specific users after a clean and tune, or are good parts.
