Piece C. E. Jennings Auger Drill Bit Set
This set also looks to have seen little use.
These came from the Carpenters box I have on consignment and were in a tray in the
chest. There is no box or wrap for them. I do not know what to call
this configuration, perhaps single twist. The expansion auger is also a Jennings
and is included. Nice. SH-RJST-1

Piece Ford / Holyoke Ma Auger Drill Bit Set
This set is incomplete. All are marked. A
history of the outfit, and how they were bought out by Millers Falls around
1917 can be found with a Google search.
It also speaks about the single twist design, and its applications.

This set in its original box looks nice. The label
below the bits advertising them and other Swan products is in great
condition. A few have been used but none
are damaged or worn out. I took ones out to take the pics if you
are concerned about the empty holes you see in the pics. It is a
complete, matched set.
