Panel Gauges
These large marking gauges are typically called Panel gauges.
The first one is English and the pivoting head is Ebony. It could be a drafting tool for marking out angles.
The second one's bar is a triangle shape bar.
The third one looks to be shop made with its stylized handle.
The last one is similar to a Stanley 85, but this one is larger.

Goodell Pratt #340 Clapboard / Siding Gage Here is a type of tool you use to see from time to time. They are also a tool that everyone use to ask what is that. I imagine if you handed one to a Vinyl siding guy today he would not have a clue. For making a perfect cut up next to the window trim or corner boards. Today they run that piece over the siding.
I have never seen either Goodell Pratt's or Stanley's version in the box before. A rare example. Click for Pic Click for Pic

It is pretty nice.

The next one is also a Scholl's Patent, but is so rough that it is all but unreadable. CYN-spmg-2

Third one down is an interesting design where the head has a lip, and the rod is not completely round. In theory to operate you twist the head to loosen move it where you want and twist again to lock. The problem here is the maker used a pretty piece of wood with some sap in it that has changed shape over the years and is now more out of round than it should be and has grown along the splits you see in the pic. It is pretty much locked in position right now. CYN-UKmg-3

The bottom one is a Bates Patent with swiveling head and patent info on it. A pretty hard to find marking gage.
