Combo Squares & Bevels

Layout Bevel  I do not see any maker info or Patents on this, but it looks like a manufactured piece to me.  It looks a lot like a Thompson Patent October 12 1859 Layout Gauge.  The arch is marked off with different sweeps, but how you were supposed to use them is a mystery to me.  Note the size, the Starrett square shown in the pic has a 24" blade in it.  Different and graphic.    click for Pic      click for Pic    CYN-SQB-1     CYN-SQB-2

Marshall Patent Bevel / Square  This one has the ability to act as a bevel / square and center finder.  It is a Marshall Patent and was offered by the Davis Level and Tool Co.   There is some damage to the fretwork casting.   The pic had a hard time picking it up, but it is there.  Its base is a little over 4" across.

Stanley #30 Angle Dividers   This unusual Stanley tool has the ability to act as a bevel / square or Angle Diver and probably more I do not know about.   The one on the left has a replacement bottom bar.  The first model in the middle never had one nor was it supposed to.  On the right is a very nice example.
