Falls #17 (Stanley # 18) Block Plane
Millers Falls planes are harder to find than their Stanley counterparts.
There simply were not nearly as many made. They are basically of the same
quality, and this is a very nice block plane that is every bit the equal of
the Stanley 9 1/2 it is modeled after.

II am not sure if this was made by Sargent or MF for Sears.
It is a well made, nice condition 9 1/2 style block plane.
Note the unusual placement of the lateral adjuster. The throat is nice.

Craftsman #3732 (65) Low Angle Block Plane
w/ Box
This is basically a Stanley #65 with the low angle cutter
and knuckle joint cap. It has some
very minor pitting on the sides and sole from lite storage rust. The japanning is over 90% and the
plane saw little use. The pitting would easily lap out, or used as is it will make a fine user.

The condition is like new. All the parts and pieces
are here. Note that it is an earlier style design that does not have the
blade depth adjuster found on later models. I am not sure if Sears offered
them at different times, or as an upgrade at the same time. Nice!

Union #103 Block Plane
Union Tool Co. competed with Stanley as best they could until they
were bought out by them in the 20's. A nice little block plane that is
just a bit dusty.

Tool Co. # X-5 Jack Plane The Union Tool
Co. competed with Stanley as best they could until they were bought out by them
in the 20's. They made a line of planes very similar to the standard
Stanley line and also produced this line with a vertical post adjuster referred
to as the X series. It did away with an adjustable frog, and the blade was
adjusted by the lever and brass nuts on the post. The condition is
like new. Different and nice!

Sargent #42 Scraper Plane
The Sargent #42 Scraper is basically like a Stanley #12. The japanning is over 90% and this
scraper
plane saw little use. The cutter is the proper thickness and looks
original, but it is unmarked as far as I can see. These are
much harder to find than their Stanley counterparts. A nice example.
