# 1 Sweetheart Era Smooth Plane
This is a super condition, very nice Stanley #1 smooth plane. It has the AA trademark logo on the cutter and Stanley on the
lever cap. That would date this plane from after 1925 and prior to1935
when the cutter logo was changed to the Stanley in the notched rectangle logo.
The heart is hard to see in the pic because of the glare, but it is there.
It is near impossible to further pinpoint the exact date of manufacture. This sweet little #1 plane saw little if any use. The cutter is full length and has just minor spotting / stains. It has not been over-cleaned, lapped or messed with. The japanning is near perfect and at least 98%. There is some light staining to the sole, but it is not pitting. The sides still show the original milling and just a few minor stains. These could easily be lapped out to make this plane grade to be near mint. The handle and knob are both near perfect and so is the finish on them. There is just a couple of minor spots of corrosion on the lever of the cap. This will clean as well. Look at all the pics. It will be some time before a nicer example is available. A super nice plane that will be a welcome addition to the collection. Highly recommended.

Stanley Sweetheart Era # 2 Smooth Plane
This Stanley #2 smooth plane is in very nice condition. It looks to be a
type 12 with the AA trademark dating it from approx 1922 - 1924. It has a nice handle
and knob. . This Stanley #2 has developed a nice even patina and
there is no rust or pitting to speak of. Its cutter is nice, near full length, and has plenty of life
left. This plane is a favorite with users for fine finish work, and a
better can can not be had for this kind of money anywhere. Tuned and
adjusted there is no better tool for the job.

Type 19 #
3 Smooth Plane in Original Box
This plane looks to be unused. It has some staining from the box, but is
not pitted or in any way damaged. The box shows normal wear and tear after
60 some years. A nice example..

# 3 Smooth Plane
This Stanley # 3 Smooth Plane looks to be a type 17 produced during WWII . The paint is original and
80% or better. The cutter is near full length.. The handle & knob are
stained hardwood as is proper for this era plane.. There is no rust or pitting
just a nice even patina. Stanley produced this series of planes omitting
some details like the frog adjuster, and using a hard rubber instead of brass
for the depth adjuster. This plane was lightly cleaned is ready
to be put to work and will make for a good user.

# 3 Smooth Plane
This Stanley # 3 Smooth Plane looks to be a type 11 / 12 from right
around 1920. The paint is original and
90% or better. The cutter his near full length.. The
Rosewood handle & knob are nice. This was the first use of the tall
front knob. It also is equipped with the external frog adjusting screw. There is no
major rust or pitting
just a nice even patina. The cap has some light shelf rust that will wipe
off. Ready
to be put to work.

This is a nice plane. It has been tastefully cleaned and is in very
nice condition. The handle has the decal still mostly intact. There is a small cosmetic chip in the lever cap, and
the cutter needs to be sharpened.

#4 C Corrugated Smooth Plane This #4 C Stanley / Bailey
Corrugated Smooth Plane dates from near the turn of the century. It has
the low front knob, and no external frog adjuster. There is 80% or so of the
original japanning, and no rust or pitting. The wood is good and the rear
handle has a great look with the contrasting sap / heart wood. It
will be a great user or is nice enough for the shelf.

#5 Jack Plane
This Stanley #5 smooth bottom jack plane is in nice condition. It has been
used but not abused.. The missing nickel on the cap is the one apology.
The wood is nice, the japanning over 90% and the cutter is full length.
With the nice graceful handle i think this is a pre WWII model. A good

#5C Corrugated Bottom Jack Plane
No real problems
here, and this #5 Jack Plane is very nice. The previous owner did stencil
his initials in blue on the tail, and scratched his name along side the handle,
but the plane itself looks to have seen little use.. It has the notched
rectangle logo on the cutter, and has the external frog adjustment.
It looks to be a nice Rosewood handle and knob with just some crazing in the
finish. It will make for a great user. Very Nice.
