66' Surveyor's Link Chain
This 66' surveying link chain is in pretty nice condition. There is
some pitting on the steel links and hoops. One of the brass handles
is missing. The fiting to hold it is there, like the one shown,
just the handle is missing. There
are tally tags present and a different style sliding link at every 16 1/2'.
I have shown pics of this area. I do not see any maker
name on the handles or tally tags. The links are not brazed.
A nice example.

least that is what I think they are. The owner put grease on them to preserve
them, and that has made some of the green finish peel off. He had a T-2,
and a T-16 but could not remember which they went to. Otherwise they
seem fine.
