Lionel No. 403 E Toy Passenger Train  This standard track size Lionel model toy train set was Lionel's top of the line in its day in the mid to late 20's until they offered the larger #409 set. There are three cars, Baggage/ Parlor, Pullman, and Observation, plus the double ended Engine.  All are in their original boxes.  Everything you see in the pics (look at all) is included.  There are two transformers and enough track to make a circle under the Christmas tree which is where this family set it up every year.

Lionel put out the most famous and most popular line of model trains and produced a quality product.  This set is in used but pretty nice condition.  It has not been used or seen the light of day in years.  The main drive wheels on the engine are warped and cracked, and the owners ordered new ones but never got around to installing them.  The new ones have held up well and can be seen in the pic. The color is a teal blue / green.  There is some scratching and scuff losses but overall it looks pretty good. I believe this to be an unusual color.     Click for Pic      Click for Pic     Click for Pic

Meyer & Frank Tin Delivery Trucks   These are pretty nice. This was one of the largest General line Merchandise distributors in its day in the Pacific Northwest, and they were very famous in that area.  They did not have Wal-Mart to compete with, but I guess the high cost of American labor back in the old days was just to much for them and they folded up like most old timers.     Click for Pic

Schuco Post WWII German Toy Vehicles

The toys and other products produced by Germany and Japan immediatly after the war are a thing of wonder considering the devastation both experienced during WWII.  It makes one wonder whats up when compared to what out new friends the Iraqis are sending us today 6 years after we declared that wart over or mission accomplished.  We saved the oil fields, control them, and now pay 2-3 times what we did before for that oil.    Hmmmm...........

Cast Iron Motorcycle Cop   These cast iron Motorcycle cops came in a variety of sizes and this one is about 4" long. It  has a lot of original paint, but note the small chunk missing from the rear fender on one side.  It seems he had an accident one day.         Click for Pic     Click for Pic     Click for Pic     Click for Pic
