We buy and sell Antique Coffee Mills and Coffee Grinders.   Our primary interest is in the double wheel #2 or  #3 size cast iron mills that like the antique # 2 1/2 Enterprise Coffee Mill  pictured just to the left.  These small coffee mills make for a very colorful and graphic display in almost any room or setting in the house. 

Back in the 60's & 70's they were plentiful and many were turned into lamps to fit in with the decor schemes from that period.  Some were done with care to not damage or alter the original state of the mill.  Others were done with reckless abandon with holes drilled through the bodies, lids, and the guts being tossed out. 

They are wonderful pieces and a great reminder of years past, and fit right in today with the current craze concerning coffee drinking.  And if you have not experienced it, there really is a difference between the taste or flavor of coffee ground between plates as in these early grinders, and coffee which is chopped up with knife blades from the things made in China sold in every retail store across America. 

The cosmetic condition of these mills and the condition of the original finish are very important to us, and we tend to only deal in and offer for sale those with excellent condition original paint. Original condition coffee mills are becoming very difficult to find, are the ones that seem to draw the most comments and attention when shown off.  The refinished coffee grinders that look like new cars coming off the lot are nice in their own right, but not something you will find listed here.
