Antique & Collectible Saws

The old adage about they do not make them like they used to holds especially true for vintage saws and edge tools.  This category of collectible and useable vintage tools were at the height of their quality back in the mid to late 1800's and into the early 1900's.  Saw makers like Disston and Atkins were putting forth a product that can not be equaled today.  Today you can expect plastic, and Taiwan or China labels unless paying a premium for custom tools coming from small cottage businesses or makers.  These vintage saws and edge tools are a testament to the quality and sense of pride that the phrase "Made in America" use to carry and can be a bargain to boot.  And they work! and are still here 100 or so years later.

Individual titles below that are highlighted in yellow are Select New Additions or Special Gift Ideas.   Be sure to take a look!!

Click any of the titles below for the description,  price and a couple pictures

Please Note:  Pieces listed in Green do not have a link or pictures, but are offered for sale with a price on this page.

Note:  Please be sure to visit the new BARGAIN BIN TOOL PAGE

The saws listed below are straight.  None are kinked or bent so as to be unusable or in need of straightening.  Some are sharp, some will need to be re-sharpened.
