German Made Carving Tools / Chisels / Gouges
The top two are German-made DASTRA (David Strasmann)
wood carving chisels.
The company was founded in 1835 in Wuppertal-Ronsdorf, Germany.
The chisels are known for being high quality, hand-forged from high carbon tool steel, and tempered to a Rockwell hardness of 60-61.
The labels on the handles commemorate "150 Jahre" (150 years) of the company.
The next two are Hirsch Werkzeuge V Shape Parting Chisels Carving Tools / Gouges with full labels. The bottom one is also a parting tool with no ID other than a # 41 number stamp. I think it is another Dastra.

Scratch Beader / Beading Plane / Shave
Windsor beading planes were patented by two fellows from Windsor Conn. Mr. Orlando Williams, and Lawrence Poole. They were issued 2 patents in 1885 for this design
beading plane. They can be found with different cutters, and there is a later different
design beader by them as well.This example is in great condition, and has a cutter w/ 6 profiles including a couple beads / reeds. As can be seen it has a built in fence, and the head w/ the cutter can slide left to right. A great looking tool.

unusual leather or wood cutting edge tool with numerous blades or
cutters was offered by a fellow named
Jack Klempner who hailed from Lakewood Ca. The instructions are
marked 1982. Many of the cutters look unused. It looks like a great
tool and somewhat more robust than most Xacto knives. There are
instructions and a leather strop for sharpening.

37-071 This 6" jointer is clean, sharp,
and has seen little use. It is small and compact, and yet a sturdy
and robust unit. It is ready to go back to work.
The table and fence are cast iron and it has simple yet robust adjustments for both the fence and depth of cut. It is very portable. Delta makes a stand for it or design your own.
The owners manual is a free download at the Delta website. I printed off the most relevant pages in English. Different retail outlets offer these new for over $400. A good deal here at half the price for a barely used tool.

Patent Box Scraper
This style box scraper was patented by Joseph
Bailey and assigned to Seldon Bailey who owned the Bailey Tool Co. of
Woonsocket Rhode Island. The patent was granted on July 26 1870.
These can be found in several sizes and I believe this one at approx. 8"
is the smallest and hardest to find. A rare piece. Nice enough for the
collection.

Martin’s Heavy Duty Cast Iron Scraper by Cincinnati Tool Co.
This is a Cincinnati Tool Co., Martin’s patent box scraper. It is cast iron and has a 2” iron. The sole is convex and both ends
of the cutter have been sharpened so it could be used in different
ways. It would make a great worker / user. Martin and Hargrave were both brand names for Cincinnati Tool Co. Nice!!
