Windsor Patent Beader / Spoke Shave
Windsor beading planes were patented by two fellows from Windsor Conn. Mr. Orlando Williams, and Lawrence Poole. They were issued 2 patents in 1885 for this design
beading plane. They can be found with different cutters, and there is a later different
design beader by them as well.This example is in great condition, and has a cutter w/ 6 profiles including a couple beads / reeds. As can be seen it has a built in fence, and the head w/ the cutter can slide left to right. A great looking tool.

Patent Box Scraper
This style box scraper was patented by Joseph
Bailey and assigned to Seldon Bailey who owned the Bailey Tool Co. of
Woonsocket Rhode Island. The patent was granted on July 26 1870.
These can be found in several sizes and I believe this one at approx. 8"
is the smallest and hardest to find. A rare piece. Nice enough for the
collection.

This is a Cincinnati Tool Co., Martin’s patent box scraper. It is cast iron and has a 2” iron. The sole is convex and both ends
of the cutter have been sharpened so it could be used in different
ways. It would make a great worker / user. Martin and Hargrave were both brand names for Cincinnati Tool Co. Nice!!
